Halloween takes place on October 31st. It lasts for one day and it is a traditional festival in Ireland. It Is the day of the dead.  Halloween is celebrated in many countries.
Halloween originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people made bonefires and wore costumes of ghosts.
On this day, people dress up and go trick or treating. People knock on the door and say "trick or treat". If the person who opens the door says “trick”, you do something wrong and  do tricks.  If the person says “treat”, they give you sweets.
Some traditional food:

-Blood soup
-Brain cookies
-french fried eyes balls
-Bugs in dirty sandwiches
-Brain cell salad.
-Pumpkin cake

It would be good to go to the Halloween festival because it is fun and you can do tricks with your friends!

They make jokes to scare other people, they watch horror movies or read horror stories.
Some people dress up like movie characters or they wear  terrifying costumes
In the USA it is a tradition to ask for many sweets at night (Trick or treat)

Some cartoons make Halloween episodes to celebrate. The traditional place of Halloween is the cemetery!
